Mine forældre har altid sagt hellere sent end aldrig, så hermed min update fra 4. søndag i advent.
Min søndag foregik til opladning på sofaen, jeg var nemlig i og fejre jul i lørdags i godt selskab.
Der blev snakket, grinet, sunget, danset og dannet nye venskaber.
“Men hvorfor kan du holde til en festlig aften, og kun holde til at arbejde i 18 timer om ugen?”
En selskabssyg kroniker
Jeg har altid været en selskabspapegøje, lige fra jeg var et lille barn, der kun sov med et øje åben af frygt for at gå glip af noget. Mit batteri er altid blevet opladet af at være social med andre.
Men lige så meget som mit batteri kan blive opladet af at være social, så kan jeg samtidig også blive meget drænet af det.
Det kan nogle gange være svært for mig at navigere i, fordi jeg elsker virkelig godt selskab, derfor er det nogle gange svært for mig at sige nej. Det kan trække så meget i mig, at jeg tænker: der sker ikke noget ved lige at deltage en lille smule.
Når jeg så deltager og stemningen er god, er problemet at stoppe i tide og sige: nu er det på tide at tage hjem, det var sjovt.
Derfor finder jeg nogle gange mig selv fuldstændig drænet for energi og til tider smerteramt på sofaen, og det kan tage to til tre dage at komme ovenpå igen. Det svarer lidt til at have tømmermænd på steroider, bare uden hovedpine og kvalme.
Men løftet til mig selv er det samme – aldrig nogensinde mere… før næste gang.
Det sker ikke kun, når det er i en festlig anledning. Mange former for sociale anledninger kan dræne mig, derfor handler det om planlægning. Jeg er ikke så god til det spontane, fordi så kan jeg ikke forberede mig. Og jeg skal sikre mig, at jeg ikke skal være social to dage i træk.
Med lidt planlægning og omtanke kan en selskabssyg kroniker også lade op i socialt selskab, jeg skal bare huske, at hvis jeg bryder aftaler med mig selv, er der kun én som bliver snydt – og det er mig selv ❤️
Som de tidligere uger deler jeg hermed tredje kapitel i den advent historie, som jeg har skrevet til mine søde nevøer.
3. søndag i advent
Børnebanden mødes
En dag, mens Malthe og Emma ledte efter julepynten på skolen, fandt de en gammel støvet bog. Det viste sig at være en trolddomsbog, der beskrev en tid, hvor en slem troldmand ved navn Grumblebum havde stjålet juleglæden.
Søskendeparret besluttede sig for at redde julen og spore Grumblebum til hans skjulested.
Malthe åbnede bogen og stirrede fascineret på de gamle illustrationer. “Emma, tror du virkelig, at dette kan hjælpe os med at finde Grumblebum og få juleglæden tilbage?” spurgte han håbefuldt.
Emma blev ivrig og hoppede op og ned. “Ja, Malthe! Trolddom er magisk, og vi er de eneste, der kan redde julen! Lad os samle alle børnene i byen og danne en hemmelig børneklub!” råbte hun med jul i øjnene.
Malthe nikkede og smilede. “God idé! Vi kan mødes på skolens legeplads og lave hemmelige planer. Jeg tror, vi har brug for sværd for at bekæmpe Grumblebum. Emma, vil du hjælpe børneklubben med at lave sværd af træ? Vi skal bruge dem til vores mission”
Emma sprang rundt, begejstret. “Ja, ja, ja! Jeg vil lave de bedste sværd og slangebøsser, Malthe! Det bliver vildt sjovt!” råbte hun og løb ud for at samle de nødvendige materialer.
Alle børnene mødtes på skolens legeplads og arbejdede sammen på at forberede deres mission, man kunne høre deres latter og entusiasme fylde luften. Fast besluttet på at finde Grumblebum og bringe juleglæden tilbage til Aalborg. De byggede sværd og slangebøsser, og de bagte en stor portion af Malthe og Emmas hårde pebernødder.
Alle de voksne var hjemme, de og blev irriterede af al den begejstring der fyldte byen.
